Now in our 24th year and as committed as ever to providing members with a sustainable, affordable, alternative to Payday, doorstop,and other high cost lenders.

Previously known as Park Road Community Credit Union, (PRCCU) we extended our common bond area in 2010, so to show the postcode districts of Liverpool we now cover we thought our name should reflect this, so now we are called Central Liverpool Credit Union. Our Board felt that as PRCCU is so well established, and has a strong ethical reputation both for it's members and other agencies it was only right that we keep our trading name of PRCCU.

We are a non-profit making, financial co-operative that exists solely for the benefit of its members.

Our ethos is that the Credit Union will be a truly community co-operative, owned and controlled by our members (who vote at an annual general meeting) and our mission is to provide our members with safe, affordable loans, encourage regular saving and provide financial assistance as required. As well as many other services.

Your savings are covered by a free insurance so if the unthinkable should happen, your savings, plus up to the same amount again, will be passed to your next of kin.  No bank would offer to double the amount  you have saved!
